Vineyards on slopes. Vines in gravel.
Deep and rich in organic material with some gravel. There are abrupt changes in slope.
Vineyard Age: average 10 years.
Inland Mediterranean. The altitude and slope make for more rain and cooler nights in the summer.

Rated “VERY GOOD”, 2020 was a very rainy and complex year, but it produced a very good harvest in terms of health and ripeness. The harvest, shaped by some organizational adjustments due to the COVID-19 pandemic, resulted in extraordinary quality.
Winemaking
Night harvest. By hand and using machines.
The varieties are made into wine separately in stainless steel containers, respecting the pace of maturation of each one.
15 days in stainless steel containers.
Daily pigeage
12 months in new French oak barrels, plus another 6 months in concrete containers, which gives finesse and definition.
Tasting
Appearance: cherry red, bright, clean, very pretty.
Nose: aromas of ripe red fruit with subtle reminders of lactose and minerals.
Mouthfeel: balanced, fine and very fresh with an intense red fruit finish and notes of the Mediterranean thicket that dominates the wild part of the estate.
Aftertaste: vibrant, polished, with a notable and very pleasant linger.
Combinations:
Perfect with roasted lamb, pork cheeks in red wine and bull’s tail.
Combines well with aged cheeses, Iberian ham and chorizo from La Rioja.
Excellent with mushroom risotto and Parmesan aubergine.
